Baby Me!

This week I have been looking at all my baby things, in a box that my mother has kept for me to look back on! Well I found all sorts and this surprised me because my mother isn't really the one to keep things for me or remember stuff from when I was little. So when I was looking through this box a was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
Don't you ever think about what you did when you was a baby and who you met along the way but you just can't remember them? I always seemed to wonder from being little why we couldn't remember being born yet everyone that was there can which as always fascinated me. Yes we could watch the VCR tapes and everything like but I never got the sense that i was there and I so want to be.

These were my first pair of shoes that only lasted me 2 months!! I must have grown fast! Haa.

I still to this day have my oldest childhood toys that are still on my bed! Yes I do still sleep with my toys. I feel I still do this because it keeps me safe (well I think it keeps me safe) in my head if I have them in bed with my whilst I am sleeping no one can touch me. Am I the only 20 year old that does that or?

This was my mum's rag doll that she has had since she was 16, she gave it to me when I was around about 8 years old and I still have to sleep with it at night. I will pass this down to my daughter. As you can tell with the picture it's tatty but it gives me the sense of comfort.

This is the toy I got from Disney Land Paris when I went for my 3rd birthday. Before you judge me we lived in Germany and it was only a short drive there. However I did have the Mickey to this Minnie but I lost him in the move and I was gutted. Because let's face it what's Minnie without Micky!

This is the cat that I have had since the age of 3. It doesn't have a name so I think I just called it cat, however I apparently went everywhere with this teddy and I wouldn't leave it alone. I still have to sleep with this one, and it also smells like my childhood which is really weird because childhood doesn't have a smell but this reminds reminds me of my childhood and happy times that I had.

This is the teddy I have had since I was born so this is like one of my oldest teddy's but I won't say favorite because then all the other teddies will get angry. (sometimes I wonder if I am 20 or not haa!) This teddy has lost all it's 'stuffing' so to speak in the middle of him so his head flops back all the time. But this one I always sleep with and even bring him to watch telly with me late at night or in the morning.

Here are some more pictures of what I found in my box. I hope that this post has made you go and dig out your baby box because you never know what you might find. I know I had fun!

This is the outfit I came home in when I left the hospital after I was born!

This is something I found that I wasn't quite sure of but my mum said it something that someone gave my parents as a gift and they hung it on the door to my bedroom.

This is a tee that someone has made me. I laughed so hard when I found this because I look like I have an affro! Plus I look like a monkey! I'm rocking the '94 baby look!

These are the tags that I had on my ankle and wrist when I was born. They are so tiny! I didn't think I was that small! Haa, I wonder what happened to my cuteness! ;)

This is the box where my mum keeps all my little bit's and pieces which is really sweet and really cute. It warmed my heart when I saw this.
